State Exams
Dear students,
state exams are held in accordance with the current study schedule.
Registration for the state exam:
- before submitting the application form for the state exam, you must have the evaluations of all subjects recorded in AIS2,
-fill in, sign the application form and deliver it to the study department (also possible by e-mail),
-registration for the defense of the final thesis is subject to its submission by the deadline set by the current study schedule,
-after delivery of the application, we will register your state subjects in AIS2,
- you can find the schedule of the state exam (classification) in AIS2 after completing the registration.
Written part of the state exam:
You will receive the information by e-mail from the vice-dean for educational activities of ELTF CU after completing the registration.
State exam subjects
The content of the subjects of the state exam (range of questions) as well as the literature are listed in the information sheets of the relevant subjects of the state exam. Information sheets are available in the academic information system AIS2.
Study program: evangelical lutheran theology
-Defense of the thesis-Applied Theology (written and oral part)
-Biblical Theology
-Systematic Theology, History of Christianity and Philosophy
Graduation ceremony
The graduation ceremony of graduates of bachelor's and master's studies will take place on (TO BE SPECIFIED) in the Auditorium of the CU on Šafárik Square. Failure to attend the graduation must be reported to the study department of ELTF CU.On the set day of the graduation, please come to the Auditorium of the CU, one hour before the date of the graduation ceremony, and of course it is a requirement that you come to this ceremonial event in formal clothes. Graduates who do not take part in the rehearsal of the ceremony will not be able to be ceremonially graduated on the set date.Tickets will be available at the graduation ceremony as follows: 4 tickets will be given free of charge to every graduate who attends the graduation ceremony. In addition to the number of participants in question, additional tickets will be available for a fee of € 2, which can be purchased directly on the spot, before entering the Auditorium of the CU approximately 1 hour before the scheduled graduation date.Dress code:The graduation ceremony is an academic ceremony and has its own rules.Graduates must wear ceremonial formal attire that matches the significance of the graduation's excellence. Ceremonial formal wear is a condition for participation in graduation.Graduates are required to wear a suit/trousers and jacket and shirt with a tie and closed formal shoes.For female graduates, it is a dress or costume (a dark color is more suitable, especially for master's graduations) and formal shoes. Clothing with exposed shoulders, skirts shorter than 10 cm above the knees, deep necklines, shiny or transparent materials are excluded and inappropriate.Taking over documents on completion of studies:In the event that the graduate cannot attend the graduation ceremony for serious reasons, he or she can collect the graduation documents in person after an e-mail agreement with the relevant faculty officer at the Rectorate.On the basis of the current directive of the rector of the CU, which regulates the procedure of the Archives of the CU when making copies, transcripts, extracts and searches from archival documents and when issuing unclaimed documents on the completion of studies and which issues a price list of services provided, all graduates of the faculty are obliged no later than 20 December of the respective calendar year to receive the documents on the completion of the studies (diploma, certificate of the state examination, addendum to the diploma). If the graduates of the study programs do not accept them, the issuance of documents on the completion of the studies after this date will be charged with the amount of €10 for each month, including the started month, which will be paid by the graduate.
